Wood Badge Ticket Examples

This page is a repository of completed tickets that Scouters have graciously donated to serve as a resource for other Wood Badge candidates who are working on writing up their tickets. I know I personally would have benefited from this when I was a candidate (in fact, I requested it). If you are a candidate, hopefully this helps.

Please remember that your ticket counselor is the final arbiter for what constitutes acceptable, and reviewing other people's tickets without the insight of what conversations occurred between them and their ticket counselor is an incomplete view of their tickets. Also keep in mind that the tickets shown here might not meet your ticket counselor's standards. In other words, use this as a resource, but keep it in context.

Jacqueline Goeppner, AOL Den Leader and Pack Secretary, Pack 51, San Antonio, TX. 7-583-24-2. Ticket in process as of 11/4/2024.

Note: Jackie is one of my patrol. (I'm her Troop Guide and ticket advisor.) Yes, she has 6 ticket items. Yes, we have spoken about that. And yes, she had to explain some of the technical aspects of her ticket to me. She has passion to do these things, and I support her passion. She is the classic example of someone who is going to do these things with or without Wood Badge. She and I have agreed I will count the first 5 she completes.
